The guy I have been dating….only texts me or emails me through the dating site. How do I ask him to call me?

The guy has been dating. . . . text me or email me through the dating site. How do I ask to call me. We had a Saturday night, when my house. Everything was great. We plan to meet Tuesday or Wednesday. He said he was fighting a cold (which I mentioned earlier last week and Saturday). So I said let me know when you want to see. He said he would. We chatted a little bit every day by text. Both agree that the only reason why we sign on the dating site is whether the other firm to greet or talk there. How I can talk to him that perhaps he could call me without seeming desperate or rejected?
